Viver Brasil's Afro-Brazilian dance performance bursts with exhilarating movement, pulsating percussion and passionate vocals. Rooted in the traditional and contemporary dances of Bahia, Brazil, the company’s work embodies this culture’s beautiful and mythic stories, complete with colorful costuming and an energetic troupe of dancers, drummers and singers.
Preshow Activity: Connect with LA Nature! Join naturalists and educators from the Natural History Museum to explore local plants and animals through hands-on activities. Together we will create nature journals, look for lizards and catch and identify insects. Put your nature eyes on and become a citizen scientist!
Preshow activities begin at 9:00 am and take place in the Ford's entryway gardens.
