This week's #VoiceMoneyTimeOrTalent entry is Black Male Voter Project
This week's #VoiceMoneyTimeOrTalent entry is Black Male Voter Project. Nearly half of Black men who are registered to vote have not voted in the past five consecutive elections. With this pivotal election coming up, now is the time to make sure every American feels they can use their voice. Black Male Voter Project works to empower Black men to participate in the voting process. Through their campaign, Black Male Engagement Program (BEMP) Auditory Approach, they create conversations with Black men who have not voted in the past; discussing their concerns of economic issues, police brutality, and the over-sentencing of Black bodies. Only after creating relationships does Black Male Voter Project prompt civic engagement, and with success! They got 96,000 Black men to vote in the 2020 primary who had not voted in the past 16 years. This fantastic organization is much deserving of your #voice to share about it, #money to donate, or #time to join the cause!

Mission: The goal of the Black Male Voter Project is simple. We are building a movement that encourages black men to regularly and actively engage in the voting and electoral process.
